What makes Serengeti special?
We don’t just do “portraits”
A shoot with us is relaxed, spontaneous and loads of fun for the whole family, in an atmosphere where everyone can just be themselves! Imagine that!
Can the most important story ever told
. . . be yours?
Amid the frenzy of everyday life, pause a minute if you can. Stop and think about who and what are truly important in your life.
The people closest to you. Your husband. Your wife. Your partner. Your children. Your parents, or grandparents. Family. Friends.
Think about the special bonds that you have with these people, and how these relationships help to shape the story and pattern of your life. Kids, for instance, only grow up once, and quickly!
Yours is a story that deserves to be told. Words have their place, yes. But what about photographs?
This is Serengeti. A personal portrait photography service that helps you tell your story the way it should be told. In a way that captures and expresses all the magic and excitement of your life and your loved ones.

How it all started
Serengeti was the brain-child of Robert Healey, a long-time photographer and wanderer of the world.
With time in Southern Africa, the United States, Europe and Canada, Robert accumulated years of experience as a landscape, travel, stock, wedding and portrait photographer, and additionally had the opportunity to work with other photographers from around the world in fashion, editorial, commercial, and motion picture and TV commercials.
Robert took the route of portrait photography and started Serengeti, as opposed to taking up a career in stock or fashion, simply because he enjoyed it more! Because it gave him the chance to share a photo shoot with clients for whom the final photographs were for – the “end-users”, so to speak.
This afforded opportunities to share more on a deeper level and in a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere where he was able to bring all his gathered experience together in a unique offering of service and experience.
Robert finds photography like this very rewarding. Offering something powerful and of great value to someone, and so having a direct hand in their happiness gives the day a lot more meaning in the end.
And so Robert offers you Serengeti Photo Studios. Join him for the “Serengeti Experience!”
